Program Description: A Zoom meeting was held this month that focused on the Restoration of historic Union Station in Washington, DC. . Union Station Redevelopment Corporation (USRC) is one of the proponents involved in the plans for the Union Station Expansion Project (SEP). USRC is working closely with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and Amtrak to implement long-term development plans for Union Station and the surrounding area. The project will include a transportation plan, passenger amenities, and public outreach and involvement. Ms. Swaim-Staley provided an update on the project work to date and the future expectations for implementation of the plan.
